The web is a fast medium: before you know it you're surfing off to
other shores. So let me get the message out straight away: if you have
a tight budget, love our planet, and need a computer, then put the Norhtec MicroClient Sr
at the top of your shortlist! This is the smallest computer I have seen
until now, and can be used in many situations to replace the larger and
heavier computer system. If you are starting with a clean
slate, even better: definitely consider this tiny powerhouse! It's a
small computer in physical size, uses a lot less energy. BUT let its
Puppy Size not deceive you: there's a lot of power inside to address
your (personal) computing and communication needs.

Hot on the heels of the DNS-323 (review here), D-Link have announced the next level of home NAS/RAID storage: The DNS-343.
With four SATA bays allowing a total of 4GB storage space, the DNS-343 essentially quadruples the maximum (RAID 0) storage capacity of its smaller sibling. This increase is enhanced by the inclusion of RAID 5 striping and distributed parity for greater data security.
Along with Gigabit Ethernet as standard, the 343 also features an informational OLED display on its front allowing the unit's IP address, operating temperatures or array status to be viewed at the touch of a button.
Price and availability are still to be announced but expect to see this sexy unit drive getting the full DigitalReviews treatment in the next month or so.
For more information, visit D-Link Australias DNS-343 product page.

Segatoys Homestar PURE is a home planetarium, which like its astronomically expensive museum counterparts, projects images of the night sky onto a ceiling. Unlike its museum cousins, however, the Homestar PURE is small, simple to operate and at $122US, very affordable.

QSTARZ recently launched the worlds most powerful Bluetooth GPS Receiver.
It can not only be used as Bluetooth GPS receiver but can also be connected to a laptop as USB GPS mouse.
Pretty smart move if you ask us.
With the 1~5Hz adjustable feature, BT-Q818 eXtreme can be switched to 5Hz mode for higher accuracy and is ideal for any activities with extreme motion.

Hisense Australia recently announced the general availability of their new 1080p models: a 47" model and the full HD 42 inch model.
Hisense doesn't have the high profile that the likes of Hitachi, Toshiba or Sony brands carry but that does not mean their products are in any way of lesser quality than the better known names.
We'll have an opportunity to put a Hisense 42" unit to the test in a few months time so stay tuned for our in-depth report!
In the meantime, have a look at some of the specs below.

Going into the Final Few Weeks of the GiveAway...!
The Number One problem most people seem to have when it comes to starting the new day is waking up when their bodies are not ready for it yet.
A loud ring jolts you out of a deep sleep. Or you don't wake up at the required time and start the day way behind schedule.
There must be a better way.
The folks at Sleeptracker pioneered that way.
We wrote about that here and also when their new Pro model came out recently we reviewed that model as well.
Now Sleeptracker is graciously making available 3 of these Pro units to readers of the DigitalReviews Network.
So if you want to experience firsthand the best way to wake up -- enter our GiveAway!
That would give you the opportunity to make up your own mind on the usefulness of this technology to wake up naturally -- as nature intended -- each and every morning!
Here's how... |
