WiebeTech USB DriveDock v4WiebeTech has just announced the latest revision of their USB DriveDock, claimed to be their most economical DriveDock to date. 

All it takes to get access to your drive is to plug the drive to the DriveDock, connect the power and an USB2 connection.

USB Geek's USB Media Remote Makes PCMCIA Slot Useful Again

USB Media RemoteEvery Laptop I have owned has had a PCMCIA slot.  And apart from obsessively clicking the slot mechanism open and closed all day I have never actually used one.  USB Geek's USB Media Remote might change all that, though.

The USB Media Remote is exactly that, but the really cool part is that the whole thing (USB Wireless reciever included) fits inside that formerly useless PCMCIA slot.

The USB Media Remote allows you to control your media from up to 30 feet away and supports Windows ME/2000/XP and Vista.

InferPoint's SliMOUSE Slim-Pad is not for Squares

Slim-PadInferPoint has announced the Slim-Pad mouse that is ultra-slim and uses a touch sensor in place of the now traditional scroll wheel.

The Slim-Pad is planned in two models; creatively named, Model I and Model II.  The Model I is a wired mouse whose cord ingeniously rolls up inside itself, while the Model II uses a 2.4Ghz wireless connection.

While the release date and pricing for this mouse is still to be announced, you can keep an eye on InferPoint's website until we can secure a sample for review.

Oculon Hikari Pro920 Miniature Projector Announced

Oculon Optoelectronics Inc has just announced the Hikari Pro920 micro sized projector to add to its line up of incredibly small projectors.

The Hikari Pro920 is able to display a 12" (diagonal) image from one foot away or a 24" image from the distance of one metre. 

The Oculon website states that two models will be available online this December:  The entry level VGA model costing $299 and the SVGA model coming in at $399.
