Not long after winding up a Y2K project (remember that?) one of my managers asked me what I thought is next on the horizon. My answer was "security always has a place and it will get more complex and harder to defend your information". Seagate's Maxtor division has introduced the BlackArmor, a 2.5 inch portable external storage solution featuring AES-grade encryption.

Imagine a generic digital photo frame and take your wish list to it, what would be one outcome?
It would probably come out like the Shogo Touch Screen WiFi Digital Photo Frame.
Shogo is billed as the world's first touch screen digital photo frame.

Jabra, the company that has brought us a swag of Bluetooth enabled devices over the years, has recently announced their latest designer headset. The JX20 Pura Titanium Edition built upon the legacy of the glitzy Jabra JX10 by Jacob Jensen.
Jabra claims "this headset enhances and simplifies the life of luxury, focusing on authentic materials, intuitive technology, outstanding comfort and excellence in audio. Built upon the legacy of the Jabra JX10 headset, while capitalizing on the inherent virtues of authentic titanium: power and elegance, Jacob Jensen combined sleek lines, strict symmetry and the striking contrast of materials to create this elegant headset. The body of brushed anodized titanium is offset by a deep-black, high-gloss trim. The resulting Jabra JX20 Pura is easy-to-wear and embodies luxury and mobility, class and convenience."
Detailed specifications are scarce at the moment, stayed tuned for updates.

Well it seems there are more accessories available for the iPod these days then there are shoes in the wardrobe of Imelda Marcos. Like her shoe collection, finding the right pair for an outing can be tough decision considering a lot of them do the same thing more or less.
If youre going to share your tunes, a set of portable speakers is fast becoming a must have for your iPod, but how do you find the right one for you?
It just so happens I have a first-rate little set sitting next to me, so let me tell you about it

As our digital lives increase in importance and volume, so too does the risk - and cost - of losing the data that makes it all possible.
While keeping up to date back-ups and storing your data in RAIDs is a good start, it all means nothing without an adequate supply of power - Especially during a power outage when critical equipment needs to be shutdown to avoid data loss.
Eaton's range of Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) aim to provide this power and with it, peace of mind.
