There are a variety of noise-cancelling headphones available in the
market today. Most noise-cancelling headphones emphasize portability
because they are meant to be used on the go where it matters most...on
the airplane. But you aren't just restricted to using it on an
airplane, you can basically use it anywhere where noise might be a
distracting factor for you: on the bus, on the street, or even in your
home.
Today, I will be reviewing a set of headphones which claims to be
comparable to the highly praised Bose Quiet Comfort II headphones as
seen in other reviews from different places. What's interesting is that
these headphones don't come from a well-known brand names such as
Sennheiser or Sony. Instead, these headphones were made by a company
called Outside the Box. In fact, these headphones seem to be the
company's only product that it sells. These headphones sell for
approximately $200. The key point for this review is whether these
headphones are good enough to tackle on the Bose QuietComfort series at
a price point which is $100 less. | |

Lite-On is known for making affordable quality optical drive products. One one side, you can see their products in the home entertainment department where you can find consumer DVD players and recorders. If you have a computer though, they manufacture CD and DVD burning optical drives.
Today, I will be reviewing Lite-On's latest external DVD and CD burning optical drive, the SHW-1673SU. If you are familiar with Lite-On's model numbers, you might have noticed that this product contains the number '1673' in its name. Perhaps this drive may have some relation to the internal SOHW-1673S drive? I did a little research on the specifications of both products and they both have the exact same specifications in terms of reading and writing speeds for various formats. Although this may just be an external version of the SOHW-1673S drive, what is more important is the interesting EZ-DUB feature this external drive has. As the name implies it allows a user to quickly 'DUB' or copy discs or files with just a press of a button. We'll explore this feature more further in this review.

Many people have heard of the term GPS, or Global Positioning System,
but are not fully informed in what it has to offer. Many people have
the misconception that it requires dishing out money to use it, but in
actuality, GPS is a free service which requires no subscription of any
sort or any extra money. GPS involves communicating with the existing
satellites in orbit in order to determine the exact position depending
where you are. By knowing exactly where you are, this immediately
makes it a suitable application when going on those long hiking trips
or just exploring some place you've never been to. When combined with
powerful software, GPS can provide more uses such as navigating from
one place to another.
