By mounting the device on a table, ceiling, or rear projection display you can interact with the PC via the display.

With a 60 frames sample rate, it really does feel like you are using a normal pen to write on a normal board -  removing the need for electronic whiteboards. Any additions you make to the document can be used either real time, streamed online, or distributed in computer file format at a later time.

HP have released 42" Widescreen LCD Interactive Digital Signage Displays that could be appearing in stores near us soon. Trying out this technology, Marcel (DRN Webmaster) ordered a coffee using the interactive display (see picture) and I browsed a fashion outlet's product database and used it to tell an assistant I required help. The retail assistant would be able to see what products or categories a customer has viewed and/ or expressed interest in, and try to tailor their sales approach appropriately. 

Inconvenient or a time saver? Only time will tell...
