We decided on a fresh new look to draw attention to our live blogging from CeBit in Sydney, the biggest  happening of stuff you wanna know about here in the land Down Under...

So, we're sending two of our team to go there in a few days time and they will be there the whole time and select some choice news items to report on.

We're awaiting the brand-new Viliv S10 Blade which Tegatech has promised us to do our blogging on - if it arrives on time! So look forward to hearing from Marcel (who signs up for the new design of DigitalReviews.net and does all the webmeistery things very masterly) and from Ashleigh who'll do most of the actual news reporting. Both Marcel and Ash are from our parent company Z-NetWORKS.

Datalogic ELF
We bring you today a first presentation on a new device, which we didn’t have physical access to yet, but feel that this info should be shared with our readers. We are trying to get a sample unit to publish a proper review.
Datalogic is an Italian company with a global presence, and it’s an European leader on barcodes and RFID readers, photo-electric sensors, and mobile devices for information gathering, in the automation industry.
Datalogic announced a new device that caught my attention, the ELF. I’ve searched for more information, and ended being invited for a webminar on this industrial Windows Phone / PDA. I do love rugged devices, mainly because my off-road hobbies and working in the construction business. And this ELF seems to be asking for that kind of fun!

Microsoft Office Mobile 2010
Microsoft just released Office Mobile 2010 on their Windows Phone app store, the Marketplace.

It's free, it's for any Windows Phone with Windows Mobile 6.5 or above, and it's more finger friendly.

It now includes SharePoint Workplace Mobile to work and colaborate online, PowerPoint can be used as a presentation complement, and it's easier to create notes, with voice clips, photos or quick lists.

 

Available from MarketPlace, either from your Windows Phone app, or from the website on your PC's browser.

It allows to sync between Windows, Mac and Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android, and with Windows Mobile, through a new third party app – Ruttensoft’s CloudFiles
