All too often I find myself cradling my mobile phone between ear and shoulder whilst trying to keep my hands free to do everything else (my masseur is eternally grateful for my custom). Or I would be talking into the cup holder with the phone on loudspeaker while I'm driving from A to B.
It's time to scope out the latest Bluetooth headset offerings.
The Callpod Dragon Bluetooth Headset (Dragon) offers more than just the basic hands free function for a mobile phone. Dragon is a feature rich device capable of simultaneous connections. It boasts a multifunction button which enables you to answer a call waiting from Skype, while you are on a normal mobile call. Once the Skype call has ended you will be returned automatically to the mobile call. Additionally, two Dragons can be connected together in full duplex mode.
The retail package appears to be quite comprehensive, it includes:
* Class 1 Bluetooth headset;
* Large ear wrap;
* AD/DC wall adapter;
* Car charger;
* USB charging cable;
* 5-pin mini USB adapter for Chargepod;
* Carrying pouch; and
* User manual.
Specifications:
* Up to 100 meters range with any Class-1 Bluetooth device;
* DSP Dual-mic noise suppression for clear communications in noisy environments; and
* 3 hours for full battery charge.
