Fujifilm have released the first compact 3D digital camera - the FinePix REAL 3d W1 Camera, capable of taking not only 2D but 3D images and videos! These can be viewed on your 3DHTV, MP or 3D-avi compatible device, or FinePix Image Viewer (included with the camera); coverted to 2D or printed in 3D format.

With the lack of programs broadcasted in 3D at the moment, this could very well be the reason to upgrade to 3D TV earlier than planned. Imagine the sports shots, photos and films of milestone occasions like a child's first steps broadcast on widescreen 3D TV in your own home!
