Hisense Australia recently announced the general availability of their new 1080p models: a 47" model and the full HD 42 inch model.

Hisense doesn't have the high profile that the likes of Hitachi, Toshiba or Sony brands carry but that does not mean their products are in any way of lesser quality than the better known names.
