Having just picked up a brand new 160GB iPod Classic, I’m still at the stage where I am desperately trying not to scratch or otherwise harm it. You see, I love the iPods svelte size and shape which means adding a case to it usually destroys the feel of the device.

Enter Ratech’s Sleevz.

Sleevz are made with Optex and are soft, tough and most importantly, 0.8mm thin. Sleevz also have a scratch free display window and the debossed control areas allow full use of the click wheel, despite it being completely enclosed. A small cut-out allows access to the iPod’s dock port and the sleeve remains open at the top for fitting and compatibility with other accessories.

We’re not sure how good these feel in the hand (or how well they protect the ipod), but they sure look good. They certainly do seem to keep the iPod’s shape and size down to a minimum and this, is exactly the way it should be.
