Our friends at I4U have an interesting Featured Review: they are taking  the XFX NVIDIA 8800 GTX XXX Graphics Card to task.

Here's a quote: "Today we will just look at the performance improvements and compare the 8800 GTX XXX performance to the performance of the stock 8800 GTX. The only place that the 8800 GTX XXX differs from the stock 8800 GTX is in the clock speeds.
The stock 8800 GTX is clocked at 575 MHz on the core and 1.8 GHz on the memory whereas the XXX version is clocked at 630 MHz on the core and 2GHz on the memory. "

Logitech QuickCam

The QuickCam series of webcams from Logitech now sport a new model with ultra image clarity. Better lenses and RightLight 2 Technology were key to this development.

The lower f-stop also allows good quality video in poor lighting situations.

Whether this coverage sounds outrageously and dangerously over the top or whether it's marketing speak for "more than adequate" we don't know yet but this latest (and largest) device, the AS 8800, from AlphaShield is the one to get, we reckon.
It's available next month for about $250 and sports 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports with a firewall, USB print server and VPN support.
We hope to bring you the details when we get our own machine soon as we've been enthusiastic about the hardware firewall that the first AlphaShield brought us: see our earlier review here.

Just like the other site in our DigitalReviews Network, PocketPCReviews.net, our regular visitors will notice a dramatic new look to this site: fresh, fast and with a bit of that "Vista" look. But under the bonnet that's where the real changes are as we moved to a Content Management System with Mambo software. This allows easier updates, more interactivity with our readers and better support for our advertisers.

Thanks in particular to Alex Parker, our resident Mambologist and Marcel from Z-Networks who signed up for the design and implementation! Great work, guys!

We have migrated some of the hundreds of our previous reviews to the new format.

We intend to publish on an almost daily basis and will bring you a lot of news and scoops from the industry.

Here's what's coming soon: reviews on Dialogue's new V33i Flybook, the OzIQ 32" All-in-One PC-TV and an amazing remote controlled aerial platform, the DraganFly,  which combines many different technologies.

Today, we bring you the scoop on the new f-tech 32 channel Bluetooth SOLAR GPS receiver.

And we have an Exciting Job Opportunity!
