The Thecus M3800 is yet another step forward for Thecus’s line of robust NAS RAID drives. Using the latest low-power, high-performance AMD Geode processor, the M3800 aims to deliver a simple, yet complete, centralized home media storage solution. The unit features three hard drive bays with RAID 5 support, allowing users to share their media easily and securely across a home network.

Supported video formats include: WMV9, WMVHD, AVI, MPG, VOB, and MP4 up to a resolution of 1080p. Supported audio formats include MP3, WMA, AAC, PCM, and M4A.

Not content to be the only three bay NAS device with home theatre sharing, the M3800 also adds wireless networking capabilities and USB webcam support!

If there is one thing that fascinates me it's flying low and slow and taking in the scenery below. 

I am lucky that I can do that in the course of my work as an aerial photographer but there are plenty of places that I haven't been to and love to see from an aerial perspective. 

Belgium is not one of those places.  I have flown over this small country many times when living in Holland but it is one thing to just fly over it in the course of your work than to be able to sit back in your lounge chair, to relax and let the whole scenery unfold before you on a high-definition screen.  It is the same difference as cooking your own meal or going to a top-notch restaurant for a gourmet dinner.
Belgium, the Movie, subtitled Enjoy Your Flight over Belgium, is such a gastronomic delight, so to speak.  It portrays Belgium as few tourists (or Belgians!) will ever experience it: flying through Brussels, following the grand boulevards in your helicopter -- not all that much higher than treetop level...

As YelloMosquito describes it, the Qingbar GP3000 is a state-of-the-art device combined with Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) micro displays and media player.

The YelloMosquito Qingbar GP300 was previewed here in November 2007.  After taking the ‘scenic postal route’ over the Christmas break, the Qingbar GP300 arrived in late February 2008 due to the efforts of the extremely helpful and professional staff at YelloMosquito and 22moo.

Having just picked up a brand new 160GB iPod Classic, I’m still at the stage where I am desperately trying not to scratch or otherwise harm it. You see, I love the iPods svelte size and shape which means adding a case to it usually destroys the feel of the device.

Enter Ratech’s Sleevz.

Sleevz are made with Optex and are soft, tough and most importantly, 0.8mm thin. Sleevz also have a scratch free display window and the debossed control areas allow full use of the click wheel, despite it being completely enclosed. A small cut-out allows access to the iPod’s dock port and the sleeve remains open at the top for fitting and compatibility with other accessories.

We’re not sure how good these feel in the hand (or how well they protect the ipod), but they sure look good. They certainly do seem to keep the iPod’s shape and size down to a minimum and this, is exactly the way it should be.

Ever since I was a child I have dreamed of having my very own planetarium and Segatoys appear to have finally created a device to make that dream a reality: The HomeStar Pro.
