YellowMosquito Qingbar GP300 on yours truly.

Exclusive Hands-On Review

DigitalReviews has the pleasure of bringing you an exclusive hands-on review of the world's first wireless video glasses with built-in media player - a totally hands free, mobile private cinema screen viewable through a pair of glasses together with hi-fi audio through high quality earphones. As YelloMosquito describes it, the Qingbar GP3000 is a state-of-the-art device combined with Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) micro displays and media player.

The YelloMosquito Qingbar GP300 was previewed here in November 2007.  After taking the ‘scenic postal route’ over the Christmas break, the Qingbar GP300 arrived in late February 2008 due to the efforts of the extremely helpful and professional staff at YelloMosquito and 22moo.

Plantronics

Bluetooth Headsets used to be expensive, but now they are now more affordable than ever.  Just to make sure we are all on the right page....people typically use wired headsets with their phone when they want to talk for extended periods of time without holding their phone up to their ear.  A bluetooth headset is pretty much the same idea, but without the wires.  Of course, in order to use a Bluetooth headset, you need to have a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.  When looking at a Bluetooth headset, we examine things such as voice clarity, the physical design, and how easy it is to setup and use.

Today, we will be reviewing the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset.

Dialogue ultra-portable Flybook V33i Coming Soon!

It's been quite some time since we wrote about the Dialogue ultra-portable Flybook.

We were fortunate enough to have one of the first original Flybooks well over two years ago and still think it can't be beat for connectivity and portability.

Finally, Dialoque has released the "Mark II" and is getting away from the TransMeta chips.

While we're waiting for the latest Flybook to arrive on our doorstep sometime this week, have a look at a couple of our earlier reviews we did on this now almost cultic machine.

Here's the second review from some two years ago:

I’ve spent about 3 months with arguably the best-connected ultra-portable notebook in the world, most of that time on the road and all of the time the Flybook being the only computer I worked with.  How did that go?  Have my enthusiastic first impressions (see our July 21 review) mellowed or did I discover the Flybook is for keeps?

Follow me as I put my travelling companion to work.

The other day I had the opportunity to have a quick look at the Nokia E61 which most people would categorise as a Blackberry type smartphone.
I only spent an hour with the E61 which probably doesn't do it justice so we'll just stick to the facts and let the pictures do the talking.

A Must-Have Crime Busting Tool

Over a year ago, I had a look at the Pila GL3 from Permalight Asia. Since that last review, Pila have been hard at work overhauling their whole range.

Their website has changed and so have the flashlights. Or have they?

Today I take another look at the GL3 and I’m quite excited. What’s so exciting about something as boring as a torch, I hear you say?

Well read on…
