Steelseries

Choosing a pair of good headphones can be a delicate process sometimes because there are many factors that a person must consider in order to like them. The obvious one is sound quality. Without good sound quality we don't really consider them in the first place. Second, they have to be comfortable. Headphones need to be well designed and can be worn for long periods  without irritating the user. Other things that are taken into consideration are materials, workmanship, and of course price. We all want to find a good pair of headphones that excel in all those areas are at least have a good balance of them. Today, we will be reviewing the SteelSound 3H Gaming Headphones. These headphones are labeled as gaming headphones, but that doesn't mean we can try using them in other applications as well. As gaming headphones, these are generally catered for those who play games on their computer frequently and are also looking for something they can easily take to LAN parties or events. Let's find out how well these do.

Plantronics

Bluetooth Headsets used to be expensive, but now they are now more affordable than ever.  Just to make sure we are all on the right page....people typically use wired headsets with their phone when they want to talk for extended periods of time without holding their phone up to their ear.  A bluetooth headset is pretty much the same idea, but without the wires.  Of course, in order to use a Bluetooth headset, you need to have a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.  When looking at a Bluetooth headset, we examine things such as voice clarity, the physical design, and how easy it is to setup and use.

Today, we will be reviewing the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset.

MoGo Notebook Mouse

It seems such a great contrast: not too long ago we reviewed one of the more sophisticated mice, the Logitech MX.  Today we look a very simple mouse: the MoGo Bluetooth Notebook Mouse from Newton Peripherals.  It may look simple but it is every bit as sophisticated and an extremely handy tool for laptop users.  The MoGo slots right into the PC card space which is normally empty on most notebooks.  That’s where it hides unobtrusively and where it gets charged.  How well does such a flat device work on a day-to-day basis?

Logitech MX Mouse

I have seldom been so enthusiastic about having to review (yet) another mouse as when we received the Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse.  The MX Revolution might sound like marketing hype but it is a Revolution in more ways than one.  If you can see beyond the initial price shock this is arguably the best all-purpose mouse out there and we will show you why.

Brando SOAP

“Don’t ram the hard things!”

That’s the advice given in the little manual that comes with the Brando SOAP MP4 player. Words of wisdom or just a case of Chenglish? Well, the SOAP moniker seem to have been chosen intentionally as there are some semblances to a (small) bar of soap with this well-rounded PMP.
The price at USD99 for the 2GB model seems cheap enough so how does it stack up in useability and value for money?
Let’s come clean…

Sandisk Sansa

With the hype for the iPods and Zunes it’s easy to forget that SanDisk is one of the major players in the personal audio field. So it’s good to know there is a decent alternative in the Sansa e200 series, SanDisk’s flagship audio line. Today we’re reviewing the Sansa e260 in particular.

Logitech webcam

Web cams have been around for a long time, but many of them suffered from poor video and picture quality.  They had poor video quality because there was a high delay time between your actual movement and what was captured by the web cam;  poor picture quality because pictures never seemed to have the proper lighting and lacked clarity and resolution.  Logitech's QuickCam Ultra Vision web cam is a new product which addresses the issues of video and picture quality all bundled into a convenient simple package.

Apricorn EZ bus DTS

Apricorn’s EZ Bus DTS is an excellent external hard drive that is both very functional in design and performance.  I think this hard drive should be definitely considered among the bigger company names that are offering external hard drives as well.  And if for some reason the size or shape doesn’t suit you, I would definitely recommend taking a look at Apricorn’s website to take a look at their wide range of external hard drives to meet your needs.
