Around last Christmas DigitalReviews flagged an upcoming product to simplify geotagging photos using GPS technology. ATP has kindly provided a unit of their Photo Finder for review. We put the ATP Photo Finder through some gruelling paces, so how does it rate?
Hot on the heels of the highly rated Powermonkey eXplorer, Powertraveller has now released a smaller sibling - the Powerchimp. So how does the Powerchimp rate compared to its larger sibling? Powertraveller and their very accomodating Australian distributor Soundstuff has thrown some Chimps in the DigitalReviews camp.
From the purveyor of many gadgets, Brando HK has released their USB Mini Web Cam designed for notebooks. With thanks to Brando once again for providing a unit for testing here at DigitalReviews Network.
Competing with the new netbooks craze are the UMPCs in their various implementations. New on that list is the Kohjinsha.
Never heard of them? Me neither but according to Tegatech Australia this new Ultra Mobile PC has come to market with one of the best specifications available, which include a built-in DVD RW in the SR series. When compared to other devices the Kohjinsha is aggressively priced with an RRP starting at Aussie $999 and capped at a maximum $1,499 for the top of the range device. In a market where smaller and cheaper is the focus the Kohjinsha pulls no punches; RAM can be upgraded to 2GB and a 120GB HDD and touchscreen is available as standard within the range.
Love at first sight. It might be cliché, but there are times when I would come across an item that would utterly take my breath away, make me daydream about it and want to run out and buy it. The Bluelounge Sanctuary is one of them. In the words of the manufacturer, "the Sanctuary is a beautiful, simple solution to a real everyday problem. A place to put the multitude of personal items we all carry around so they are easily located again when later needed and, always fully charged."
So how does having the Sanctuary in my home stack up to the glowing initial impression it left on me from reading about it on the Bluelounge website? Well the folks over at Bluelounge have very generously provided DigitalReviews this opportunity. Thanks Bluelounge!
