I am a small business owner with more than 20 years of experience working alongside clients to help them grow and manage their businesses. When I am not advising clients or buried in numbers, you will usually find me enjoying life’s social side — sharing craft beer flights, exploring new whiskey tastings, or hunting down the best chicken wings in town. At home, I am a wife, mother of two independent women, and a proud Rottweiler wrangler.
My background includes studies in art, film and television, which sparked a lifelong appreciation for creativity and storytelling. I love a good conversational movie and anything that brings people together to share ideas and experiences.
As a Gen X, I have had a front-row seat to the evolution of much technology, from the clunky charm of the Commodore 64 to modern Macs, Microsoft platforms, sleek mobile phones, immersive gaming, and the ability to connect instantly with people across the globe. Living with multiple sclerosis has given me a deeper appreciation for how technology can simplify daily life and create meaningful opportunities for connection and independence.
My interest in reviewing tech comes from this blend of curiosity and lived experience. I am fascinated by how innovation changes the way we work, communicate and relax. Life rarely goes exactly to plan, but as a cautious optimist, I try to meet it with curiosity, a splash of humour, and just enough patience to see what happens next.
