Boost Mobile today announcing their support package for their Australian customers, from those affected by the floods in Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales to those customers concerned for the welfare of family and friends in Ukraine.
Misery loves company. The turning of the decade has kicked off an on-going disruptions and challenges to “the norm”. From bushfires to flood, the great toilet paper shortage, pandemic, earthquakes, volcano eruptions and war, I have and experienced so much in such a short time. It is little wonder we hold on every little thing to cheer about.
For Boost Mobile customers in Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales who have been affected by the floods, Boost’s Disaster Assistance Package enables customers to register and receive free calls and texts, as well as 25GB of data.
Customers in the impacted areas will be receiving a text from Boost Mobile on how to apply for the assistance package, and consumers can also reach out to Boost Mobile directly to apply. Such benefits are all for use within Australia within 28 days.
Boost customers do not need to have an active recharge to be eligible to access this disaster assistance package, and all applications will be vetted and applied to customer accounts within 24 hours.
In addition to this package, Boost Mobile also appreciates that many people in Australia are anxious to be able to reach and stay in regular contact with family and friends in Ukraine. To try and make it easier for Boost customers to stay in touch with their loved ones during such difficult times, it is providing free calls and texts to Ukraine and neighbouring countries including Poland, Hungary, Moldova, Slovakia and Romania. An active recharge is needed to be able to access this offer, which will be available until the end of March.
“These are unprecedented times, and Boost Mobile is doing whatever it can to support our customers and communities through access to free calls and texts. Whether it be because of the flooding in Australia or the war in Ukraine, we want to play our part and be there for our customers. We hope we can play a small part in enabling people to stay connected as they deal with these devastating situations.” said Jason Haynes, General Manager, Boost Mobile.
Here’s to a bit of cheer in your day, thanks Boost Mobile!
