A blast of chilly weather on the eastern seaboard heralds the official arrival of winter in the southern hemisphere.

Welcoming winter the cosy way with a slew of new movie releases to get you through those cold and lonely nights. From the silver screen to your humble abode, these blockbuster films are available to rent or buy throughout the month of June.

AHEDA June 2022

RobPat is Batman, the latest iteration to hit Gotham’s underworld also starring Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, The Batman is a brooding, bleak, but highly entertaining take on the classic DC comic. One for the film buffs who can get around some intense action scenes between the beginnings of a dark romance, now is the time to set up your home bat cave and tune in.

Who doesn’t love a traditional lost-in-the-wilderness-with-an-unlikely-companion type tale? Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum embark on an exotic treasure hunt in The Lost City, the family friendly flick providing comedic relief after a long working week. Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt add to the already stellar cast who have created the ultimate escapist blockbuster to warm your heart this winter.

One for the littlies to get lost in; The Bad Guys is a computer-animated crime comedy that follows the notorious Mr Snake, Mr Wolf, Mr Piranha, Mr Shark and Ms Tarantula. This gang of animal outlaws are looking to pull off their most challenging con yet – becoming model citizens – so strap in for a very colourful and fun-loving film based on the popular Scholastic book series of the very same name.
