PAX Aus has unveiled another wave of headline guests for its 2026 event, bringing together an eclectic mix of game developers, voice actors, content creators, musicians, authors and tabletop personalities when Australia’s biggest gaming festival returns this October.

Leading the announcement is Austin Creed, better known to wrestling fans as former WWE superstar Xavier Woods, whose passion for gaming has made him one of the industry’s most recognisable crossover personalities.

Joining him are two key figures behind FINAL FANTASY XIV, with Michael-Christopher Koji Fox and Toshio “Foxclon” Murouchi making a special appearance for Square Enix fans. The pair have played instrumental roles in the ongoing success of one of the world’s most celebrated MMORPGs and are expected to provide unique behind-the-scenes insights into the franchise.

Animation and comic fans will also have the opportunity to meet Lenore Zann, the iconic voice of Rogue from X-Men: The Animated Series, X-Men ’97 and numerous Marvel video games including Marvel Rivals. Zann will participate in a fireside chat covering her decades-long career across television, animation, gaming and public service.

The creative side of game development is also well represented, with Housemarque Creative Director Gregory Louden, acclaimed Australian composer Mick Gordon, and returning comedian and Dropout TV host Ify Nwadiwe all confirmed for this year’s event. Fans can also look forward to the return of John Robertson’s The Dark Room, alongside appearances from gaming creator ThatBronzeGirl, tabletop favourites Good Games Morley, fantasy author Isobelle Carmody, and Chaosium Art Director Paul Tobin.

These guests join previously announced World of Warcraft Executive Producer Holly Longdale, who will headline a special Storytime session during the festival.

Lauren Luciani, Event Director for PAX Aus, said this year’s line-up reflects the diversity of modern gaming culture.

PAX Aus has always been about bringing together incredible people from every corner of gaming and gaming culture. This year’s guests represent the breadth of the community we celebrate, from game development and content creation to tabletop gaming, fantasy literature, voice acting and live performance.

PAX Aus returns to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 9–11 October 2026, with organisers promising additional guest announcements, panels and special events in the lead-up to the festival.
