UGREEN has made a significant pre-launch adjustment to its new HomeAgent smart-home platform, cutting hundreds of dollars from planned retail pricing while delaying its Kickstarter campaign by three weeks.

The company has reduced the MSRP of the UGREEN HomeAgent HA100 from US$1,799 to US$1,599, while its 50% Super Early Bird price falls from US$899 to US$799.

The more powerful HomeAgent HA100 Pro receives an even larger reduction, dropping from US$5,999 to US$5,399. Its Super Early Bird price falls from US$2,999 to US$2,699.

UGREEN says the discount percentages themselves remain unchanged. The 40% Early Bird price for the HA100 will therefore drop from US$1,079 to US$959, while the HA100 Pro moves from US$3,599 to US$3,239.

The NVIDIA-powered MasterAgent MA100 is not included in the pricing adjustment, with its MSRP and promotional pricing remaining unchanged.

Updated UGREEN HomeAgent pricing

Model Previous MSRP New MSRP Super Early Bird Early Bird
HomeAgent HA100 US$1,799 US$1,599 US$799 US$959
HomeAgent HA100 Pro US$5,999 US$5,399 US$2,699 US$3,239

The changes come only weeks after UGREEN unveiled HomeAgent as the centrepiece of its expansion beyond NAS hardware and accessories into a broader AI-powered smart-home ecosystem.

HomeAgent is designed as an Agentic AI Local Hub, bringing together local AI processing, household data, connected devices, cameras, storage and smart-home controls.

Rather than simply responding to individual commands, UGREEN says the platform is intended to understand household context and use natural-language interaction to carry out tasks across connected systems.

It is an ambitious step for a company better known for chargers, docks and, increasingly, NAS hardware.

That NAS background is important, though.

UGREEN has spent the past few years building out its NASync range and accompanying UGOS software platform. HomeAgent takes that local-storage foundation considerably further by combining storage with AI inference, smart-home control and security devices.

As we covered when HomeAgent was first announced, the wider ecosystem also includes UGREEN’s SynCare security cameras, an E-Paper smart frame and a smart speaker built around the company’s Uliya assistant.

You can read our earlier coverage of the full UGREEN HomeAgent AIoT ecosystem here.

UGREEN says HomeAgent can connect cameras, speakers, storage and compatible smart-home devices into a single locally managed ecosystem, with Matter support intended to extend that beyond UGREEN’s own hardware.

Extra hardware for existing deposit holders

UGREEN is also adding bonuses for customers who have already paid a deposit.

Customers who complete the purchase of either the HomeAgent HA100 or HA100 Pro will receive one SynCare ID500 Pro indoor camera.

MasterAgent MA100 customers will instead receive four 8TB hard drives after completing their purchase.

The ID500 Pro is part of UGREEN’s new SynCare security range and is designed to integrate directly with HomeAgent.

UGREEN says its local AI functions can recognise people and pets, provide event summaries, search recorded footage using keywords and respond to voice queries through Uliya.

The camera also includes an 8MP 4K sensor, night vision, motorised pan-and-tilt coverage and a physical privacy shutter.

Kickstarter launch pushed back to November

The HomeAgent Kickstarter campaign is also being delayed.

UGREEN originally planned to begin crowdfunding on 27 October 2026.

The launch has now been shifted to 17 November 2026.

UGREEN says updated pricing information and details explaining how the changes apply to existing deposit holders will be published through its official channels.

For Australian buyers, the newly announced figures should currently be read as US pricing, rather than A$799 suddenly becoming the local entry price.

A lower barrier to a very new category

The price reductions make the HA100 considerably easier to contemplate at the Super Early Bird level.

US$799 is still substantial, particularly for a product entering an entirely new category, but it moves HomeAgent closer to the territory of high-end NAS hardware and premium smart-home hubs rather than making it look like a small server-room investment.

The HA100 Pro remains another proposition entirely at US$2,699 for early supporters.

UGREEN is betting that some households will see value in combining local AI, storage, smart-home automation and surveillance into one platform, particularly as interest grows in keeping more personal data and AI processing inside the home.

The hardware is only part of that equation.

The bigger test will be whether UGREEN can turn its vision of proactive, context-aware household AI into a platform that is reliable, useful and simple enough for people to live with every day.

Moving the Kickstarter campaign back three weeks gives the company a little more time before that proposition is tested by paying customers.

And with the HA100 now starting at US$799 for Super Early Bird backers, the cost of finding out has come down as well.
