Baseus is using IFA 2026 to show just how far it has expanded beyond the chargers, cables and power banks it is perhaps best known for.
The company has unveiled a new collection spanning charging, open-ear audio and smart home security, led by the Baseus MC2 NC Clip-on ANC Earbuds, the rather gorgeous Dark Cherry Collection, and the PrimeSentinel U2 Pro Outdoor 3K Dual Camera.
There is also a rather interesting all-in-one travel charger and power bank joining the PicoGo family.
And in the interests of disclosure, I already have the Dark Cherry Collection sitting here waiting for its turn through the Digital Reviews Network test bench. I’ve finished testing a couple of the products already, although those reviews aren’t quite ready to go live.
So I can at least say this much without relying on Baseus’ marketing material: Dark Cherry looks gorgeous in person, and the little PicoGo Pro AH22 charger is ridiculously cute.
Baseus MC2 NC brings ANC to clip-on earbuds
One of the more unusual announcements at IFA is the Baseus MC2 NC Clip-on ANC Earbuds, which combines an open-ear clip-on design with active noise cancellation.
ANC and open-ear audio aren’t necessarily natural bedfellows. Traditional noise-cancelling earbuds rely heavily on the physical seal created inside your ear canal, while open-ear products deliberately avoid that isolation.
Baseus isn’t claiming the MC2 NC will replicate the fully isolated listening experience of conventional in-ear ANC earbuds. Instead, its approach is designed to reduce some of the everyday background distractions that typically remain with open-ear headphones.
The MC2 NC uses what Baseus calls an Air Ear Wing, creating a natural acoustic seal that works alongside dual adaptive ANC.
A dual air chamber design is intended to keep the earbuds secure without applying excessive pressure, with Baseus positioning them for commuting, working and exercise.
The Baseus MC2 NC Clip-on ANC Earbuds are scheduled to launch in late September 2026.
Australian pricing and local availability have not yet been confirmed.
Baseus goes Dark Cherry — and it looks gorgeous
Baseus is also introducing its new Dark Cherry Collection, a coordinated range it says is inspired by the latest iPhone colourway.
And, credit where it’s due, it looks gorgeous.
That’s not just me parroting the press release either. Baseus has sent me the collection ahead of launch, so I’ve had the opportunity to see the finish in person.
The deep Dark Cherry colour is being rolled out across several charging and audio products, creating a coordinated ecosystem aimed particularly at Apple users.
At the centre of the collection is the Baseus PicoGo Pro AH22 Digital Display Fast Charger 3C 100W.
I’ve already finished testing this one, with the full review coming shortly. For now, I’ll say that Baseus has somehow managed to make a 100W wall charger genuinely cute.
It measures just 54 x 52 x 32mm, but Baseus has packed three USB-C ports, dual GaN chips and a 23mm square display into the tiny body.
The display provides real-time output information for each port, while three charging modes allow you to change how the available power is delivered.
Smart Mode automatically manages power between connected devices. Gentle Mode reduces charging power to limit heat and battery stress, while Turbo Mode provides maximum fast charging through USB-C1.
Baseus has also put considerable emphasis on thermal management. The AH22 combines its dual GaN chips with graphene, thermal gel, continuous temperature monitoring and the company’s SmartGuard protection system.
Baseus claims its AHB architecture can achieve power conversion efficiency of up to 95%.
Each of its three USB-C ports can individually provide up to 100W, although naturally you’re not getting 300W out of a 100W charger. With all three ports occupied, total output tops out at 95W, with Baseus’ PowerTune 3.0 system managing power distribution between connected devices.
Protocol support includes PD 3.2, QC 3.0, AFC, 66W SCP, PPS, SPR AVS, MiPPS and UFCS, while its 100–240V input makes it suitable for international travel.
Dark Cherry goes portable
Joining the AH22 is the Baseus PicoGo AM52, a 10,000mAh magnetic power bank with Qi2.2-certified 25W wireless charging.
It also incorporates a built-in USB-C cable capable of up to 45W two-way charging, giving you the option of wired charging without having to remember another cable.
For those who’d rather have something as unobtrusive as possible, there’s the Baseus PicoGo Air AM71.
This one drops capacity to 5,000mAh but is just 0.2 inches thick, making it an interesting option when size matters more than maximum capacity. It supports up to 22.5W wired charging and includes magnetic wireless charging.
I’ve already put the slim power bank through its paces as well, so there’ll be considerably more to say about that shortly.
Completing the Dark Cherry charging range is a Baseus FrostCore USB-C to USB-C cable, supporting up to 100W PD charging.
There’s audio in Dark Cherry too
It’s not all about charging.
The Baseus Inspire XC1 Open-Ear Earbuds are also getting the Dark Cherry treatment.
The XC1 features Sound by Bose, Baseus’ Hybrid 2-Way Sound Engine and what the company calls Zero-Sense Air Cushions.
There are four microphones for calls, along with IP66 water resistance.
I’ve got these here for review as well, so we’ll find out how the Sound by Bose collaboration translates into actual listening performance rather than trying to make that judgement from a specification sheet.
The Dark Cherry products begin rolling out during September, although the individual launch dates vary by product.
The AH22 Dark Cherry edition is listed for September 4, while the AM52, FrostCore cable and XC1 begin arriving earlier in the month. The PicoGo Air AM71 goes on sale on September 5, following pre-sales from September 1.
Australian pricing and local availability haven’t yet been confirmed.
PicoGo Mix AT51 could be an interesting travel companion
Frequent travellers may be more interested in the new Baseus PicoGo Mix AT51 Universal 3-in-1 Charge Power Bank.
Rather than carrying a power bank, wall charger, travel adapter and cables separately, Baseus has attempted to combine the lot.
The AT51 packs a 10,000mAh power bank, 67W fast charging, universal travel adapters and two built-in cables into a single device.
It supports US, Japan, UK and EU plug standards, potentially making it an interesting proposition for international travel, particularly if it can eliminate several separate pieces of charging gear from the suitcase.
Baseus hasn’t announced pricing or availability for the PicoGo Mix AT51 yet.
It’s one I’d be interested in getting my hands on. After enough international trips, anything that removes another charger, adapter or loose cable from the bag gets my attention.
PrimeSentinel U2 Pro expands Baseus’ existing security lineup
Baseus isn’t new to home security cameras, but at IFA 2026 it is expanding the range with the PrimeSentinel U2 Pro Outdoor 3K Dual Camera.
The outdoor security camera combines a fixed 3K wide-angle camera with a second 3K PTZ camera, providing 360-degree monitoring.
More unusual is what Baseus describes as the world’s first target-focused deterrence spotlight.
Rather than simply flooding an area with light when motion is detected, the U2 Pro uses a focused motorised spotlight capable of locking onto a detected intruder and following their movement in real time.
It sounds slightly more Robocop than your average porch light, but the concept is interesting: illumination becomes part of the camera’s active deterrence system rather than simply helping it capture better footage.
The camera also includes dual PIR sensors and AI recognition for people, faces, vehicles and pets.
There is an important caveat here. Baseus says its cloud-based AI analysis requires a subscription, something we’ll want to look more closely at if the U2 Pro eventually makes its way through the DRN labs.
That’s also worth noting given Baseus already offers security cameras built around local storage, making the subscription component of the U2 Pro’s cloud AI features something worth keeping an eye on.
Other features include IP65 weather resistance, solar-assisted battery operation, local storage and two-way audio.
The Baseus PrimeSentinel U2 Pro is scheduled for release in October 2026, with Australian pricing and availability yet to be announced.
Baseus is building out its ecosystem
IFA 2026 paints an increasingly interesting picture of where Baseus is heading.
Charging remains a major part of the company, but this year’s announcements show Baseus continuing to build across categories it already operates in, while adding some genuinely interesting ideas along the way.
The PrimeSentinel U2 Pro builds on an established Baseus security camera range, while the MC2 NC pushes its open-ear audio portfolio in a different direction with ANC.
And then there’s Dark Cherry.
The collection demonstrates that Baseus is paying attention to something beyond specifications. I’ve got enough black, white and grey chargers around here to last several lifetimes. It’s nice to see some personality creeping into the category.
And yes, I know it’s only a colour.
It’s still gorgeous.
We’ll have reviews of the Baseus Dark Cherry Collection coming to Digital Reviews Network as I work my way through the pile.
In the meantime, Baseus is showing its latest products at Hall 4.2, Booth 145 at IFA Berlin.
