Orico has officially announced the retail launch of its CyberData NAS Series, bringing its highly anticipated network-attached storage platform to a wider audience following a successful crowdfunding campaign.
Available from 28 July 2026, the CyberData family consists of four models designed to suit everything from personal media libraries through to professional creative workflows and business storage environments. The range includes the compact CyberData CF6, hybrid CF56, performance-focused CF56 Pro, and the flagship CF1000, supporting up to 256TB of storage.
Unlike traditional NAS appliances that focus purely on storage, ORICO is positioning CyberData as a complete private data platform that combines high-performance storage, intelligent media management, application hosting and AI-assisted organisation under a single operating system.
A NAS Designed for Modern Digital Workflows
As photo libraries, video projects and personal archives continue to grow, many users are looking for alternatives to fragmented cloud services and scattered external drives.
ORICO says the CyberData platform has been designed to centralise digital content while giving users complete ownership over where their data resides.

The CyberData CF6 is the most compact model in the lineup, featuring:

- 10GbE and 2.5GbE networking
Designed for photographers, home studios and enthusiasts, the CF6 focuses on delivering fast file access without mechanical hard drives.
ORICO CyberData CF56
The CyberData CF56 introduces a hybrid architecture by combining:
- Five SATA drive bays
- Six M.2 NVMe SSD slots
- Up to 168TB total capacity
The mixed storage design allows users to keep active projects on fast SSDs while archiving larger datasets on traditional hard drives.
ORICO CyberData CF56 Pro
Built for more demanding environments, the CF56 Pro adds considerably more processing and connectivity.
Key specifications include:

- Dual 10GbE Ethernet
- Dual USB4 ports supporting up to 40Gbps
- Hybrid SATA and NVMe storage
