After having reviewed the top-of-the-line Miele vacuum cleaners over the past couple of years, our attention now turns to what might arguably be the most sophisticated autonomous vacuum cleaner in the world: the Miele Scout RX2 Home Vision. This robot vacuum cleaner has just been released onto the Australian market.
Have a look as we put this roving robot to the test as it scouts and scoots around a house that was definitely not built very robot-friendly!
So how did it go?
Over the years we’ve been reviewing many items that have been a “Model 2” – an improved product. Like last week’s new Megaboom. We love to see how a good product can be made even better.
When we did a hands-on take of the original Bissell Bolt ION XRT Stick Vac we gave it a big Thumbs Up but also noticed a few points where it could be improved.
Bissell recently released their new iteration of the Bolt and made it into an even more compelling tool for your broom cabinet.
Here is the Bissell MultiReach Bolt 36V and our findings.
After all, Miele build their reputation as one of the world’s top vacuum cleaner manufacturers for the past century, spruiking the benefits, indeed the necessity, of making a bag an integral part of their cleaning process.
And now they announce a bagless vacuum? Have Miele created the best of the bagless bunch?
It certainly is a futuristic-looking machine....
Follow me as I dragged the Blizzard CX1 through the office and our house.
Take the Kenwood for instance. We’ve had one or more in our families for over 50 years.
It was the most versatile and useful kitchen appliance around.
And then a couple of years ago they came out with the Kenwood Cooking Chef.
Whoa! This is NOT your mother’s Kenwood!
Let me tell you about this awesome machine...
So could a fully automatic coffee machine ever come close to producing what we as baristas loved to brew?
Call us sceptical but willing to be wrong on this score.
So when De’Longhi suggested we have a look at the Primadonna Elite, which is their top-of-the-line fully automatic coffee machine, we couldn’t say no.
And after several weeks of testing and tasting we are pleased to admit that sometimes it’s good to be proven wrong!
Let me show you why.
In my college years I did a stint of janitorial duties that included quite a bit of floor mopping so the “joys” of using the mop and bucket have scarred me for life....
Many different solutions have been created over the years to get rid of dirty floors.
One specialist purveyor of floor care products, BISSELL, has just brought out the CrossWave, which probably is one of the best arguments to ditch the mop and bucket altogether. And perhaps the vacuum cleaner too!
Just follow me in my dirty tracks....
Normally we put our recommendation at the very end of our review but we don’t mind this time to get your attention first and justify our conclusions later.
Is this vacuum the perfect cleaning tool for every household?
Certainly not but if you’re in the market for a cylinder/barrel/canister vacuum cleaner you can’t go past the Miele C3 range...
There is no denying that we here at DigitalReviews.net are fans of the Bissell family of floor care products so we had great expectations when the latest sibling was announced a few weeks ago: the Bissell Bolt Liftoff Ion 2 in 1 cordless vacuum cleaner.
It has great ambitions, namely to replace the big vacuum cleaner that most households have.
Well, with over 40 minutes of run time from the massive 36 V lithium ion battery it could be up to the task.
Let’s see if it really sucks or really sucks-if you know what I mean....
We have done a few kitchen appliance reviews over the last couple of years but we are always on the lookout for the ultimate kitchen tool that even a Chef cannot do without.
In fact, when we came across the Hotmix PRO in search for the best all in one machine to grace your countertop, this particular appliance is indeed created specifically for commercial use.
But my question is: would there also be a market for the Hotmix PRO in households where people take their cooking seriously? Yes, I’m looking at the Thermomix crowd...
So let’s look at the Hotmix PRO from these two different angles.
