Obsbot makes bold claims for their new Tiny 3 AI-powered 4K PTZ webcams. When they approached us, we did not hesitate to say yes to test it out.
Let’s have a quick look at the claims:
- studio-grade spatial audio
- flagship-level imaging
- industry-leading AI intelligence
- ultra-compact aluminum-alloy body
It is designed for content creators, podcasters, remote professionals, educators, and live streamers, the series delivers premium sight and sound. The aim is to do it all without external microphones, cable clutter, or complex setups.
For this review, Lee takes the Obsbot Tiny 3 for a spin. He also got his hands on the Vox SE wireless lavalier microphone.
The Vox SE focuses on portability and remote control, and is specifically designed to work seamlessly with the Tiny 3 series.
Without further ado, let’s hear what Lee thinks of it. He had a lot to say!
Master the Obsbot Tiny 3 Desk Mode
One of the most impressive features Lee tested was Desk Mode. This allows the camera to automatically tilt down 30∘ to 45∘ to showcase your tabletop, instantly correcting the perspective so documents appear flat and readable rather than distorted.
How to Activate Desk Mode
- Via OBSBOT Center: Open the software on your PC/Mac and select the Desk Mode icon from the Smart Shooting menu. The camera will automatically tilt and apply keystone correction.
- Via Voice Command: Simply say, “Hi Tiny, Desk Mode,” and the AI will handle the transition for you.
- Via Vox SE Mic: If you have the paired Vox SE microphone, you can map the multi-function button to trigger Desk Mode remotely.
