I’m a simple creature. Give me a cold beer and floors that magically clean themselves and I’m content. The Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Track S promised to make at least one part of that fantasy real. From the moment I set it up to the first full run, it lived up to the promise of real set-and-forget cleaning.

Dreame positions the Aqua10 Ultra Track S as a high-end robot vacuum and mop designed to take automation to the next level. It features the TrackMop roller system, which applies hot water, scrubs and extracts dirty water continuously, addressing the smearing and surface level wipe issues common in traditional “bot-mops”. With up to 30,000Pa Vormax suction power, it is built to handle serious debris including pet hair. The navigation setup combines VersaLift and ProLeap technology to climb thresholds up to around 6cm, reach under low furniture and intelligently avoid obstacles with the help of AI cameras and structured light sensors. Its companion app adds real convenience, offering live tracking, custom zones, scheduling and personalised shortcuts, ideal for things like “after-meal clean” or a targeted “pet zone.” While the phrase “OK Dreame” isn’t a headline feature in the marketing, the unit does support voice command control and spoken status prompts.

The message from Dreame is clear: this machine is for people who want powerful cleaning with minimal hands-on involvement.

Features That Deliver Truly Hands-Off Cleaning

  • TrackMop™ hot-water scrubbing system
Uses heat-assisted TrackSync technology to spray hot water (around 45 °C) onto a roller mop, scrub deeply and extract dirty water in real time for noticeably cleaner, streak-free floors.
  • AI-powered navigation with dual cameras
OmniSight intelligent mapping uses twin AI cameras and 3D structured-light sensors to detect and avoid objects, learn your layout and clean intelligently rather than bumping around.
  • ProLeap™ climbing + retractable VersaLift™ legs
World’s first retractable-leg system certified by Frost & Sullivan, capable of lifting the body to climb up to approx 6 cm levels and adjust height to move smoothly under furniture and across stepped flooring.
  • MopExtend™ corner reach
Extending mop and side brush design reaches right into corners and along skirting boards — solving the classic round-robot problem of missed edge dust.
  • Suitable for mixed flooring
Designed for tiles, timber, vinyl, hybrid and carpets, with automatic mop-lift to prevent wet carpet and smooth floor-to-floor transitions.
  • Built for pet homes
Strong fur pickup, smart object recognition for bowls, toys and litter trays, and pet-safe navigation. The app even allows Pet Snaps and remote pet-monitoring so you can check in while you’re out.
  • Hands-off automation
Auto-empty dust system, self-cleaning mop, self-drying station, auto-return to charge and resume cleaning when ready.
  • Long-running battery
6,400 mAh battery covering most medium to large homes in a single clean.
  • Powerful app control
Live-tracking map to watch activity in real time, custom zones, schedules, cleaning shortcuts and personalised routines such as after-meal or pet-area cleaning.
  • Voice control convenience
Supports voice commands such as “OK Dreame” plus spoken status updates for true hands-free operation.
  • PowerDock™ base station
Automatically handles debris disposal and mop cleaning with a 3.2 L dust bag designed for up to 100 days between manual emptying.

Real-World Performance: Putting the Aqua10 Ultra Track S to the Test

Sleek, minimal and far better looking than any cleaning tool I grew up with.

Setup & pairing Right out of the box the setup was refreshingly simple. Clear instructions, easy WiFi pairing, voice prompts telling me what stage it was at. I filled the water tank, added cleaning solution, connected to the app, said “OK Dreame, start cleaning” and let it go. No babysitting. No setup time spent teaching it the layout.

Mapping, navigation & thresholds
I was skeptical. Mapping without me doing anything? But it nailed it. It built a clean floor plan, didn’t miss corners, navigated under furniture, skirted chair legs with no bumps, no bruises and no apologies needed. The climb into the bathroom (less than 5 cm) was no problem and when I ran it at night after lights out it triggered its own light and kept going. Our dog stared it down like it was a potential threat to national security, then decided it wasn’t worth the emotional investment and retreated to the couch. When a Rottweiler gives a cleaning robot space, you know the navigation is polite and predictable.

App, shortcuts & live tracking
This is where you feel the upgrade. The app allows custom zones, scheduling and monitoring. I set a cleaning shortcut for “after wings night in the dining room” and a shortcut for “pet zone around the dog bed”. I told it to clean those zones at scheduled times. I liked that I could check progress live, watching its little icon move around the map in real time felt like air-traffic control for cleaning. It genuinely felt more like having an extra pair of hands than another device to manage.

Looks just as good at home.

Pet Perks, shedding & heavy hair zones

A great perk for households with pets is the ability to check in on them remotely using the built-in monitoring features.

Disclaimer – not my dog, she was on the couch, supervising..

The robot uses twin AI cameras and structured-light sensors to recognise pet zones and will even snap photos of your pet’s location. While I did not fully test a live-stream feed, this feature holds genuine appeal in homes with pets.

In a home with a dog, hair pickup across hard floors matters. I found the Aqua10 handled pet hair impressively. That said, in user forums (yes, I do my homework) I found caveats. Extremely heavy shedding dog homes may still need manual oversight (more regular bin and brush checks) despite the top-end hardware. In my scenario this machine handled things far better than I expected.

Dog Hair? Challenge accepted.

Mop-Extend, side-reach, auto-lift & roller mop system

The roller style mop system is genuinely one of the best I’ve seen. It sprays hot water, scrubs, then collects the dirty water rather than just pushing it around. My tiles came out clean and dried fast. No sticky footprints or damp surfaces. The side-extend roller allowed the machine to clean closer to edges and skirting than I expected. The auto-lift feature prevented dripping onto the carpet when transitioning from the tiled area. It’s clearly built for real homes with real layouts, not just smooth showroom floors.

Designed for real homes with real floor transitions.

Voice control & status updates
“OK Dreame” really works. I was able to command it by voice. Not only that it also provides “vacuuming”, “charging”, and “mopping” prompts. It’s a playful and practical touch.

What Stands Out (Pros)

  • Truly minimal manual input required. Fill, connect, schedule or run. Done.

  • Premium navigation: mapping, lifting and low reach.

  • The app + live tracking + shortcuts = smart-home worthy.

  • Roller mop system + quick drying = serious result on tiled floors.

  • Pet-hair performance strong in a “normal” pet home.

  • Voice-control polish that adds joy (yes, I said joy) to cleaning tech.

What to Be Mindful Of (Cons & Considerations)

  • The auto-emptying base is noticeably loud so if you’re in a quiet townhouse or run this late at night you may want to schedule carefully.

  • Though hair pickup was very good in my case, extreme heavy-shedding (multiple large long-coat dogs) may still challenge this machine. Occasional brush and bin checks recommended.

  • It’s certainly an investment, but you’re getting a machine packed with world-first features such as retractable legs, MopExtend, hot-water TrackMop and AI video functionality – not just another robot vacuum. When you consider how much manual work it actually replaces, the price makes sense.

  • Learning curve: The app is rich in features and it took me a short time to explore scheduling and shortcuts properly. Totally worth the effort though.

Final verdict: Spotless Floors, Maximum Freedom

The Aqua10 Ultra Track S delivers on everything Dreame promises. In my mixed-floor, pet-friendly, furniture-heavy home, it mapped itself automatically, vacuumed and mopped with almost no input from me, handled pet hair and uneven floor transitions with ease, and let me monitor and control everything from my phone while I relaxed. This isn’t just another gadget. It feels like an extra set of hands.

For homes with pets, mixed floor surfaces and real-world layouts full of furniture, tight corners and everyday obstacles, the Aqua10 Ultra Track S makes a compelling case for itself. If your home doesn’t look like a minimalist display apartment and you want to spend your time doing literally anything other than micromanaging a vacuum, the value becomes very clear. Yes, a cheaper robot will manage the basics, but this one gives you something far more valuable – Freedom. Time back. Floors that stay clean without nagging or nudging. For anyone who wants spotless floors without babysitting, it’s an easy recommendation.
