These days you pick your flash memory not only according to the capacity you want, but also the form factor is important and even how it looks.

An interesting form factor is the one that looks like a credit card, only a tad thicker.2010-01-1

The clever thing about this one is that the USB connector is totally flush with the card and makes for a compact unit.

Brando is marketing these 1 GB cards in a variety of prints.  This includes even a picture of the Mona Lisa!

Have a look at what this is all about.

Personally I would never have chosen flash memory with an imprint like this.  I like something that looks unobtrusive, even plain. But when I showed this card to my wife and daughters they all liked them.

That goes to show that there is a market for these things after all.

The form factor can be quite handy if indeed you want to carry it around in your wallet.

It can be a bit tricky to coax the USB connector out of its snug hiding place.

There is not a lot you can say about the performance of this card as it is just like any other flash card that is USB 2.0 compliant., so I will just let the pictures do the talking.

By the way, we will have an in-depth review of the SanDisk Cruzer Titanium U3 drive, which is a totally different type of flash memory, very soon, so stay tuned
