Parkzone Trojan T28

I must admit I have been looking forward to the arrival of this plane. This is the fifth of seven remote controlled electric planes that we intend to review in separate detailed writings on this site.  Already completed reviews include: the Apprentice 15e, Mini Super Cub, Hobbyzone Champ and Cessna 182.  Reviews yet to come are the Super Cub LP and the new Cessna Classic 500.  The final article will have a compiled comparison grid on all ‘planes which will result in us bestowing the coveted Digital Reviews’ “best ‘plane” award to one of the remote controlled (RC) electric aeroplanes using a point system.  Included within this review will be short evaluations of the Phoenix Simulator and Spektrum Dx6i transmitter.

Efo USB LED Light

This is the one I find rather useful as I’m often typing away on my notebook in dimly lit places (no, not bars or nightclubs – just wait till you see what we have next for you if you frequent those places!)

It works very well and has enough light that spreads fairly evenly over the keyboard.
You just want to make sure that you don’t look into the lights or into the reflection of the screen. They are pretty bright!
The gooseneck is rather thin but does the job without being too floppy. You can easily bend it to read documents or you might find it perfect for night-time plane flights. Sure it takes a bit of juice away from your laptop battery but these things are very economical.
Simple and effective. Only $8.50.

Efo Alcohol Tester

We got a couple of these things in to test. Not that we fall in the category of heavy drinkers but this little gizmo might help to stay on the safe side. Not that you can claim any legality from its readings – that doesn’t stand up in court or with the boys in blue...

Their alcohol testers are calibrated.
This one will give an indication only but it’s fun to use in a pub.Price: $12. 50

As the Efo site says: Breath test is the most effective and scientific way to check up the blood-alcohol. The Personal Alcohol Tester estimates the concentration of alcohol in the body by measuring the amount of alcohol exhaled from the lungs. It is a good indicator for you to consider whether you should drive or not after drinking.

Efo Solar Rechargeable Torch

Here’s one of these oxymorons: a solar powered torch – but thanks to a rechargeable battery it doesn’t only work during the day... !
Well, the idea is great, the execution less so.
Yes, it’s an environmentally friendly torch as the sun recharges the internal battery.
Trouble is there’s only 1 small battery in there even though there’s room for more.
So the output is not as bright as can be nor the endurance as long as some of the other torches we’ve reviewed.

Efo TV

This little USB stick packs quite an entertainment punch!

Here you have easy access to literally thousands of radio and TV stations as well as games.
It takes ages to just browse through the phenomenal menu that has been dished up on your screen to taste and sample them...
Fortunately, many categories come with their Top 100 selections to make it a bit easier. Mind you, this one has a heavy Asian bias which is not bad, just different.
As the site says: Chanson de Paris, New York Jazz, Britpop Rock, Milano Cancion de Amor, Tokyo Pop, Bollywood of India, Venetian Classical Music and more ... Music of the whole world will follow you anytime, anywhere you go.
