Sony launched a new series of wireless speakers and headphones designed to produces powerful deep sound designed to make your heart tremble. The Sony ULT Power Sound series is built for music lovers, to make you feel like you have dived into the front row of the arena.

The new ULTIMATE range consists of wireless speakers ULT TOWER 10, ULT FIELD 7, ULT FIELD 1, and wireless headphones ULT WEAR.

All models in the series include the ULT button, providing signature sound quality by enhancing the music with one or two different sound modes.

In line with the ULT Power Sound series launch, Sony has partnered with Grammy award winner and global chart-topping sensation, Peso Pluma. “The powerful sound and massive bass of the ULT Power Sound series excites me,” says Peso. “As a musician who relies heavily on bass when creating my music, I feel that these products provide the best listening experience for my fans and there is nothing else like it.” The artist will feature as part of Sony’s “For The Music” audio brand campaign, focusing on the ULT Power Sound series.

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Melbourne launch of the Sony ULT Power Sound series at Wax Music Lounge. Music has to be heard to be believed and it was great to get a feel for what each of the speakers.

The quick impressions are:

ULT FIELD 1 – Small, portable, love the orange colourway (very aligned with DRN thanks Sony!) The adjustable / removable handle is a nice little touch.

ULT FIELD 7 – Bit bigger. Well quite a bit bigger that the FIELD 1, but still manageable to carry with either one of both handles.

ULT TOWER 10 – What a big boy this is! Looks like it’s going to be the life of the party.

ULT WEAR – I only got to put them on quickly to test the comfort level, but with thanks to Sony I am going to try them out over the next few weeks and give my thoughts.
