According to Capterra, 82 per cent of Australian shoppers were changing their spending habits because of their personal finances. As costs rise, 26 per cent of those surveyed said they were buying more second-hand goods.

With Cricut it’s so easy to re-purpose or breathe new life into a pre-loved item and make it a unique gift, or keepsake. We wanted to show how easy it could be to make someone’s day extra special, with a meaningful personalised gift, or by creating a custom tablescape with upcycled décor, all whilst doing your part for the circular economy and being budget conscious given the current climate“, said Nicola Dow Smith, Regional Director, Cricut.

Shopping pre-loved with Salvos Stores is the perfect option to keep costs down and creativity flowing. When you shop with Salvos Stores, you are participating in the circular economy by giving new life to pre-loved items, keeping them out of landfill, all while the money goes to helping people in need.” said Sarah Rowley, Digital Customer Communications Officer, Salvos Stores.

Signature Tokyo Lamington sleeves will be decorated using Cricut printable stickers featuring iconic Aussie treats designed by a local artist including lamingtons (of course), fairy bread and honey joys! I’ve had the pleasure of some of these lamingtons and they are devine!
