Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer amongst women in Australia, with over 20,000 Australians diagnosed each year. I have personally lost friends to it. It’s good to see companies backing organisations, such as Motorola announcing a new partnership with Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).
Motorola will be donating $20 from the sale of each unit between 1 July 2023 and 31 December 2023, of the motorola razr 40 ultra and motorola edge 40 sold in the Pantone Color of the Year 2023 – Viva Magenta.
Kurt Bonnici, Head of Motorola Greater Asia Pacific said, “Breast Cancer Network Australia works tirelessly to ensure that Australians who are affected by breast cancer can be supported. Support is needed for those in treatment, their families, and for those adjusting to life after treatment. This incredible community of individuals is truly inspiring. As a brand that has been around for a long time – we recognise and appreciate the connection and resilience of this powerful Network, making BCNA a special partner for Motorola.
We are proud to be making a contribution to this effort through the donation from the sales of our new motorola razr 40 ultra and motorola edge 40 devices, in the 2023 Pantone Color of the year, Viva Magenta.”
With some 57 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer each day, the work of BCNA is vital for those affected by this disease. The partnership comes in the year of BCNA’s 25th anniversary, celebrating the incredible work of the organisation to ensure all Australians affected by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.
Kirsten Pilatti, CEO, Breast Cancer Network Australia said, “Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) is delighted to be partnering with Motorola. A big part of what we do is helping people to connect – with the information or support they need and with others affected by breast cancer. It feels like a natural fit to partner with Motorola, a brand known for helping people to connect when it matters most. From our Network’s perspective there is nothing more powerful than a quick text or phone call from a friend or family member. This partnership will help ensure BCNA is there with vital information and support for more people affected by breast cancer.”
The new motorola razr 40 ultra and motorola edge 40 both come in the stunning Viva Magenta shade, which is exclusive to Motorola as part of its partnership with Pantone, making it the perfect match for the iconic pink of BCNA.
