It is getting very busy for Hisense Australia, with the expansion of their premium Laser range as well as a significantly enhanced Mini-LED TV range for 2024. There is also an all-new soundbar range.

C1 TriChroma Laser Mini Projector

Building on the success of its existing ultra short-throw range of home cinema solution and Laser TVs and specifically engineered for the Australian market, the new and highly-versatile C1 TriChrima Laser Mini Projector will be available locally from Q2 2024. It forms part of Hisense’s expanded Australian Laser product range in 2024 and is also their first offering in a new sub-category – Premium Laser Long Throw Projection.

As a pioneer in the industry, Hisense has continued to push the boundaries of Laser technology in the home entertainment space, with over 1,800 applied patents. With Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technology built-in across the range, to help deliver the highest audio and visual standards, the addition of a long throw laser projector means it’s never been easier to create the ultimate cinema experience regardless of your home setup.

We are seeing strong appetite for our premium Laser technology in the Australian market. Hisense has continued to invest and innovate heavily in Laser technology, and we’re proud to offer an extended product range that just makes sense for Australians looking to bring the ultimate cinema experience into the home. The C1 TriChroma Laser Mini Projector forms the foundation of our entry into the new sub-category of premium laser long throw projection, and will provide another level of versatility for those looking to explore the incredible experience and benefits of our Laser range,” said Gideon Lui, Head of Marketing, Hisense ANZ.

C1 TriChroma Laser Mini Projector

The C1 TriChroma Laser Mini Projector’s adjustable screen size allows it to transform from 65-inches, up to a class-leading 300-inch projection size. Despite such range, all screen sizes are delivered in crisp and clear 4K UHD resolution, with the C1 TriChroma Laser Mini Projector equipped with the full gamut of additional visual and audio features that Hisense’s customers have grown to expect from its premium home entertainment products. Hisense’s proprietary operating system – VIDAA U6 – also presents a familiar interface for the user.

Weighing in at just under 5kg, the C1 TriChroma Laser Mini Projector can be easily repositioned throughout the home without the need for heavy lifting or complicated installations. However, convenience and versatility shouldn’t come at the cost of image quality, and the C1 TriChroma Laser Mini Projector’s AutoMagic AI adjustment features deliver when it comes to the setup of this state-of-the-art offering.

The AutoMagic AI adjustment allows the C1 TriChroma Laser Mini Projector to be capable of fully automating its focus, keystone and screen alignment. Conveniently, auto obstacle avoidance also allows the product to revise its screen size, relative to features present on the surface used for the projection, such as a light switch or lamp in situ1. These features ensure the user can simply plug in, point and play their favourite content.

While great attention has been delivered to picture quality, audio has not been spared either. The C1 TriChroma Laser Mini Projector is equipped with a 1-litre Sound Chamber curated in collaboration with JBL. Also benefitting from the Dolby Atmos treatment, the C1 TriChroma Laser Mini Projector’s strong audio credentials ensure its usability as a standalone solution, as well as the capability for it to be integrated into an existing full home theatre setup.

Hisense isn’t just a participant in the Laser category globally, we are the pioneer in this technology. We pride ourselves on our ability to push the boundaries of picture and audio quality in this broadening range of state-of-the-art products. To be able to do this, while also keeping a keen eye on the range’s sustainability credentials, is testimony to Hisense’s relentless pursuit to lead and define the Laser category,” Lui added.

Hisense’s Laser home entertainment products deliver enhanced sustainability credentials when compared to more traditional TV technologies, with the L9H TriChroma Laser TV and PL1H Laser Cinema boasting 92% and 91.2% recyclability rates respectively. In 2023, Hisense was granted a carbon footprint certification for its PL1H Laser Cinema product from TÜV Rheinland, a leading provider of technical services worldwide. The certification specifies principles, requirements and guidelines for the quantification and reporting of the carbon footprint of a product.

Across the board, it’s clear that Laser home entertainment technologies are able to deliver big on-screen size, while also minimising our impact to the environment. We’re proud to hold ourselves in such high regard in this space, making us a clear choice for prospective owners,” Lui concluded.

ULED redefined: Raising the benchmark

Hisense’s 2024 TV line-up continues to reshape home entertainment standards, once again levelling up the technologies which define the ULED benchmark for 2024. Boasting Mini-LED visuals at its core, this collection of premium technologies represents the most innovative TV benchmark for Hisense to-date, including the flagship UXAU as well as the U8 and U7 Series.

With Hisense’s leading-three models now controlled with an all-new solar remote for 2024, customers will also delight at the inclusion of QLED Quantum Dot, Dolby Vision IQ and 144Hz native as standard for the ULED range. The addition of IMAX Enhanced Certification to this collection – previously only available for the U8 Series and above – will ensure visuals from content on apps such as Disney+ are spectacular.

For gaming enthusiasts, the new range just makes sense. This year, Hisense’s Game Mode Pro will feature across the U7 Series (U7NAU) and above, ensuring it’s as simple as plugging in a next-gen gaming console to activate the essential features needed for the ultimate gaming experience. Better yet, the new Hisense Game Bar conveniently pops up in place of the usual on-screen settings when gaming consoles or PCs are in-use, allowing gamers to see, at-a-glance, which features are active and even track the current frames per second (FPS).

Each year, we commit to delivering greater value to our customers through our advanced, premium technologies. With our elevated ULED benchmark, this year’s range gives customers confidence that they are buying technology that is at the height of innovation in home entertainment,” said Gideon Lui, Head of Marketing, Hisense ANZ.

The 2024 Hisense Mini-LED TV range delivers a vivid viewing experience, even in the sunlit and airy living spaces of Australian homes. With impressive brightness and clarity, along with an expansive suite of features, owners of our new and premium range will enjoy Hisense’s best Mini-LED TV viewing experience yet,” continued Lui.

More Mini-LED: Australian living rooms to benefit from premium tech in even more sizes

Spearheading Hisense’s TV offering in 2024, the UXAU – which features Mini-LED X technology and boasts exceptional brightness and clarity thanks to the sheer number of backlights and dimming zones – will now be available in two additional screen sizes.

With big screen popularity continuing strongly for Hisense, a flagship and range-topping 110-inch UXAU will be introduced for those who want the most premium TV viewing experience Hisense has to offer at a ground-breaking size. Equally, following demand from customers with smaller living spaces, a 65-inch model is also being introduced.

On from the flagship UX, the popular U8 Series – boasting Mini-LED Pro technology – will be available in a larger size of 85-inches too, joining options ranging from 55-inches and up. Additionally, the U8 Series also now features a new, streamlined aesthetic for 2024, with the model’s audio capabilities located towards the rear of the unit, utilising up-firing speakers and a built-in subwoofer for an immersive audio experience.

Hisense ULED

Under-the-hood, the technologies underpinning the U8NAU have significantly evolved too. Now boasting 1,000+ dimming zones and up to 2,000 nits of brightness – formerly 500+ and 1,300 respectively in 2023 – customers will benefit from an impressive uplift in contrast, clarity, and control from the U8 Series.

Closing out the premium ULED range, the U7 Series will continue to be offered in screen sizes from 55-inches, up to an impressive 100-inches. Throughout the range, Hisense has tripled the model’s number of dimming zones over the outgoing model, with the 300+ built into the U7NAU bringing enhanced levels of contrast overall.

Beyond the ULED line up, Hisense’s new U6 Series will offer highly competitive and attainable entry into Mini-LED, providing an affordable option still packed with premium features. Combined with Hisense’s wider range of UHD TVs, the breadth of options further delivers on the brand’s commitment to offer innovation and choice for everyone.

Notably, 2024 will see Hisense continue to deliver an exceptional range of big screen TVs, with several premium models now featuring options for 100-inch and 110-inch screen sizes, following increasing demand from both retailers and customers. In line with this, Hisense is introducing a new, highly attainable 100-inch model, the 100Q7NAU, which features 144hz QLED quantum-dot and full array backlit screen. A perfect option for price conscious buyers seeking a super-sized big screen with outstanding image quality.

Our commitment to innovation drives us to continually redefine industry standards. The 2024 range demonstrates our dedication to delivering unmatched home entertainment experiences. With advancements in Mini-LED technology and offering the opportunity for our customers to go even bigger, we’re thrilled to bring a new level of immersive entertainment to Australian homes at attainable prices,” Lui said.

Conveniently located on the front of the premium, design-centric remote, the solar panel harnesses ambient light to ensure a continuous charge for uninterrupted functionality.

The remote also incorporates USB-C charging, offering a versatile and convenient alternative power source. Customers can say goodbye to battery replacements and embrace a greener, hassle-free way of managing entertainment systems – a decision made with the eco-conscious customer in mind.

Introducing Hisense’s new enveloping audio

To match the visual excellence of the 2024 TV range, the new soundbar range is designed to elevate the viewing experience with immersive sound that captivates, adapting to and enhancing a range of content – from sport and blockbusters, through to news programs and music.

Boasting two new soundbars for the 2024 line up, the hero AX5120 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos Soundbar features seven speakers and improved sound direction with dedicated up-firing speakers for spatial audio, with a centre speaker designated for dialogue to ensure crisp and clear dictation.

Beyond dialogue, the soundbar delivers greater overall audio clarity, with Hisense’s own Pure Surround sound technology, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and the convenience of EzPlay. This final feature enables the use of one remote for a Hisense TV and soundbar pairing, when two products are combined2. Conveniently, the soundbar can also fit aesthetically within the adjustable height of select Hisense 2024 TVs which feature adjustable legs and centre stand.
Offering seven tailored sound modes to make quality audio as accessible and seamless as possible, customers can benefit from customised audio profiles based on content – optimising the sound source from different media for the perfect listening experience. Whether diving into a thrilling action movie, delving into a video game adventure, or enjoying an ‘edge of your seat’ NRL final, customers can expect to be immersed in the very best audio experience.

Combining the strength of our ULED line-up and an improved user experience with VIDAA U7, alongside an impressive soundbar offering – we could not be more proud of the Hisense offering for Australian customers in 2024. We continue to listen to our customers and respond accordingly – this year’s range makes premium features available to more customers at a time when hip pocket pressure is at an all-time high. We’re focusing on what matters most – making those premium features relevant to our customers and easy to use,” Lui concluded.
