Standing out from the majority of 2.5G switches on the market, the XMG-100 series ensures that every downlink port operates at 2.5G speed, while each PoE port supports high-end PoE++ with a total power budget of 70W or 100W. This capability allows higher-power devices to be connected, including newer-generation WiFi APs, security cameras, VoIP phones, LED lighting, and media players. Additionally, the 10G SFP+ uplink port allows the XMG-100 switches to connect to 10G equipment such as NAS devices, or servers for large-file transfers, providing an ideal upgrading path from multi-gig to 10G network.
Seamless plug-n-play
As an unmanaged switch, the XMG-100 series doesn’t require any configuration, meaning users are ready to go from the moment they connect to the device. The plug-n-play experience simplifies the entire set up process, offering users an easy, instantaneous way to upgrade their network. The switch can also be used with customers’ existing Cat5 cables, saving any additional money and effort associated with replacing existing cables.
Energy-saving design
The fanless design, combined with a solid metal case and efficient heat dissipation, ensures that the XMG-100 series runs silently while also saving energy. With a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to 40°C and a small form factor, the XMG-100 series can be easily placed on desktops, mounted on walls, or installed in various other areas and home spaces.
