It’s new, it’s hot, and it’s the thinnest and lightest Galaxy Z Fold series to date. It is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7.
Samsung says this is the next chapter of foldables, bringing together design and engineering, with AI built specifically for the foldable form.
We are no strangers to the foldable form factor here at DRN, but the Fold7 is the first fold we have gotten our hands on to review (vis-a-vis flip).
I think Lee’s reactions in the video says it all – and this is coming from an Apple fanboi, there is a lot to love and admire.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is available for pre-order already, and on-sale starting 1 August 2025. The Galaxy Z Fold7 comes in Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jet-black, and Mint (online exclusive) colour options.
Prices starts from A$2899 for 256GB, with $200 knocked off the launch prices for the 512TB and 1TB variants. This offers gets you the 512GB version for the price of the 256GB.
DRN would like to thank Samsung for providing the review unit.
